A Christmas Playlist for Wonder

I love Christmas music, and I have eclectic taste in holiday tunes. Look at my top three Christmas albums, and you’ll see what I mean.

In college, I vividly remember driving up US-287 from Denton in my red Dodge Daytona (with a hatchback, thank you very much) with Amy Grant’s voice serenading me as I headed home for Christmas break. I always liked the album, and the music seemed to hold more meaning as I returned home after my first semester away. I was growing up, and I felt nostalgic. Years later, I still love hearing “Little Town” in all its synthesized glory; the melody continues to wash my heart with truth and wonder of that Holy Night. And a funny side note: two of my four kids actually request the Amy Grant album. My hubby shakes his head, but my heart swells with pride to hear their little voices sing “Tennessee Christmas.“

I’ve curated a holiday playlist specifically to inspire our hearts with the wonder of the season. The first playlist is instrumental for moments when words are a little too much.
